Fashion trends SPRING 2022

SPRING is right around the corner. We will soon say good bye to our heavy fluffy winter jackets. Bye Bye horrible hats, winter socks and chunky boots!! Say hello to bright joyful colors this season. As you may have seen the recent fashion shows, it's really all about colors: bright lilac, the famous Green Bottega is still around, without forgetting hot magenta and bright orange.

PS: Don't worry, nude colors are still in fashion (and for me they will always be🙊) like this Salted Caramel look from CHLOE fo SS22:

Nude tones will always have a special place in my heart. So, let's take a look a this season's trends

   

1-WOMEN'S SUITS

It's no secret, we LOVE a good designed suit. Either you like it oversized or more fitted, this is a staple piece every woman should have in her wardrobe. Plus it's so versatile you don't always have to wear it as a set. You can wear the jacket with jeans, dresses, different color trousers,...

Here are some of the most stylish suits I've seen so far this season:

2-PATTERNS & MATCHING SETS

You may still not get it, but the inspiration this year is going back to the 90's. It's all about patters, puffy sleeves and denim (yes you can wear jeans with denim jackets!!)

Zebra is the leading pattern this season. And for a good reason: it's wearable with bright colors, nudes, as an accessory,... You get it, they are infinite ways to add zebra to you outfits.

Leopard was also very popular during Milan Fashion shows like this one from Roberto Cavalli:

Another staple I personally ADORE are matching sets. You may have seen on IG I wear them a loooot especially now that I'm on vacation. This one is my favourite from Chanel SS22:

3-TROUSERS

Large, high waisted trousers. You've probably already seen them in stores, but they are here to stay. If you don't already have a pair girl RUN to Aritzia now (they had a really good selection last autumn).

They are so easy to wear, you style dress them up or down. Personally I prefer them with a good looking silk blouse with puff sleeves (another season trend).

And for my short ladies, these are for you. They are very long trousers and they make you look taller. So it's a YES for meh!!

4-BRIGHT ORANGE & GREEN

If you're like me and you've never been a fan of bright bold colors, well maybe it's about to change.

I used to hate colors but since the famous green from Bottega Veneta has been all around, I have to admit I'm in love.

Green dresses, bags, heels & sandals. It's pretty, it matches with everything now. And if you're a bold color lover you can match it with bright orange, lilac and even hot magenta.
